Known as the IT city of India, Bengaluru is home to IT companies like Infosys, Wipro and many famous startups that have made the country look back.

The water problem facing the city of Bangalore, which is the foundation for the development of IT and digital services, has become a major topic of discussion among the people of the country. About 8 major areas in Bengaluru are suffering from severe water shortage. There is severe shortage of drinking water in various areas.

In this situation, due to the demand from the employees, Bangalore companies are now releasing successive important announcements and causing shock. Kuku FM Co-Founder and CEO Lal Chand Bisu said, "Due to water scarcity, companies are switching back to remote working mode as employees refuse to come to the office. 

This affects the operations of companies as they have to adapt their operations to the sudden change." Similarly, Matrimony.com founder and CEO Murugavel Janakiraman proposed that every building should install a mandatory water harvesting system. He also stressed the need for government assistance in reducing water use, recycling and restoring aquifers and raising groundwater levels. 

It is said that Bengaluru has not received much rain for the last 6 months and this bad situation has developed due to the influence of summer. Apart from work from home, companies are now allowing remote working, i.e. working from home. Due to rapid urbanization and population growth in Bangalore, the water scarcity situation is worsening. This poses a major challenge for Bengaluru, known as the “Silicon Valley of India”. 

Industry experts emphasize the need for immediate and long-term measures such as mandatory water harvesting and raising groundwater levels. This water problem also affects IT offices and tech park operations. Due to this, from the employment market to the real estate market, excessive effects are being created one after the other.
